Our client based in South Carolina purchased an older home that didn’t quite fit their needs. The overall style and functionality was a bit lackluster and didn’t excite them. Essentially, they were looking to modernize their home and transform it into a beautiful space that would make them happy and feel comfortable having family and friends over for dinner gatherings. Some of their goals included adding contemporary touches, high quality wood flooring, and oak cabinets, and using neutral tones throughout the entire house with lots of natural light coming in through the windows.
What Kamanski Construction Did
To start off, we listened very carefully to the client’s needs, wishes, and concerns about the remodel, and provided a step-by-step plan and timeline as to how long the entire project would take. We opened up the living room to add more square footage and installed wood flooring and new sturdy column frames. Brand new appliances, oak cabinets, marble countertop, and a stunning island were added in the kitchen with a beautiful and modern backsplash. The oak flooring found throughout the house adds a refreshing and warm feeling. A new stairwell with luxurious steel handrails was also added near the entrance, while wooden beams in the ceiling gives the entire space a cozy and rustic feel.
Upstairs, the master bedroom was enlarged with a walk-in closet, while vanities and a beautiful bathtub were added in the master bathroom next to a large window. Overhead LED lighting with varying light brightness were precisely added in the ceiling for optimal lighting. Although this was an extensive project, we were able to complete it within a few months and happy to help bring the client’s dream home to life!
